Western Anadarko
Maverick is the largest operator in the Western Anadarko Basin. One of the continent’s most prolific reserves, this region has tremendous development potential for oil and liquids rich natural gas.
Maverick owns properties spanning from North Texas to Central Oklahoma. The Western Anadarko assets consist of both operated and non-operated interests as well as 460 miles of integrated midstream pipeline.
In Western Oklahoma, Maverick’s Postle and Northeast Hardesty Fields are home to the company’s mid-continent enhanced oil recovery (EOR) operations. Carbon dioxide is captured from the Bravo Dome Field in Eastern New Mexico and transported to Postle and Northeast Hardesty, where it is injected into the reservoir for miscible hydrocarbon recovery. Product from these fields is treated and sold at Maverick’s Dry Trails Gas Plant.
As Maverick’s Western Anadarko assets produce from a series of stacked pay intervals, future growth in the basin is focused on horizontal development of various zones.
